Student Life

The size of Zaragoza is considered advantageous by exchange students. It is big enough to offer the recreational activities of larger Spanish cities, but it is also small enough to become easily acquainted with the various districts and enjoy other advantages, such as short commute times and affordable housing close to the city center.

Zaragoza is easily accessible from Madrid and Barcelona among other major Spanish cities, in addition to many other European cities such as Paris, London, Rome, Brussels, and Frankfurt. Its strategic location provides quick and easy access to all sorts of leisure activities. In less than three hours, you can find yourself sunbathing by the Mediterranean Sea or climbing the peaks of the Pyrenees. If you like winter sports, and open-air activities like rafting or hiking, Zaragoza is the place for you!
