Program Highlights

The University of Zaragoza was founded in 1542, making it one of the oldest universities in Spain. The university has established itself as a center of excellence, research, and teaching, where many renowned scholars and scientists worked and still work today.

The University of Zaragoza is headquartered in Zaragoza, Spain, the major town in the Spanish region of Aragón and the sixth largest city of Spain. Zaragoza has a rich history, dating back some 2000 years. For more information about the University of Zaragoza see their general information brochure.

Academic Programs

This exchange program with Universidad Zaragoza is only open to students taking business courses. Currently, classes are only taught in English for more basic business courses. Therefore, this program would best be suited for Freshman, and potentially Sophomores. More courses will be offered in English in the next academic year, so check back at that time for more information. To see a list of courses, click here.

Student Life

The size of Zaragoza is considered advantageous by exchange students. It is big enough to offer the recreational activities of larger Spanish cities, but it is also small enough to become easily acquainted with the various districts and enjoy other advantages, such as short commute times and affordable housing close to the city center.

Zaragoza is easily accessible from Madrid and Barcelona among other major Spanish cities, in addition to many other European cities such as Paris, London, Rome, Brussels, and Frankfurt. Its strategic location provides quick and easy access to all sorts of leisure activities. In less than three hours, you can find yourself sunbathing by the Mediterranean Sea or climbing the peaks of the Pyrenees. If you like winter sports, and open-air activities like rafting or hiking, Zaragoza is the place for you!

Universidad de Zaragoza will help you facilitate your housing upon acceptance to the program. They offer flats and rooms to rent and they also have dormitories available. More about Universidad de Zaragoza accomodation.
